The Marine Life Oceanarium is located Gulfport, one of the cities ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. It was home to a number of animals, including a bunch of dolphins. Eight of those dolphins were left in their tanks, as they had survived previous hurricanes without significant damage. Katrina totally destroyed the tanks, and all thought the dophins were dead.

A couple of days ago, scientists from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration were surveying the port, and noticed a group of eight dolphins swimming around the port. They contacted the people from the Oceanarium, and they came out and identified the dolphins. Although they had a variety of injuries, all were in great shape, all things considered.

Edit: (The main spokesman for the Oceanarium is named Dr. Moby Solangi...I kid you not!)
