An interesting couple of days...

Had a wonderful time seeing kattale's birthday gathering last night.! It was nice to see her, which I don't do too often.

This morning...er...afternoon, after being awaked by a phone call...I put on the CBC Newsworld channel, and had a slightly surreal experience...the anchorwoman was someone I recognized...but not from CBC...I was sure she was a CNN anchor.



Usually newscasters go the other way...like J.D., sorry, John Roberts, once a Much Music VJ and City TV reporter, now a Senior Reporter for CNN. But I did recognize the anchorwoman, and then she signed off, and gave her name, Lynne Russell. Ah, yes...I hadn't seen her in a while on CNN, and figured she had moved on elsewhere. Well, she had, she was working as a private detective and volunteer Atlanta, Georgia deputy! Wow!
