So it goes...
Well, I am at a standstill with my GED, and Fnord, my employer is backing off a bit. I also think I put the "fear of Ghod" in to the GED people, as I have gotten a pair of progressively more conciliatory emails from the GED admin for Ontario. I don't think that anyone has challenged them on their policies in light of the human rights acts of both Ontario and Canada. I hope that I will be able to get reasonable chance to do this GED thing...but their policies seem to be relics from the 18th century!
Otherwise, working at Fnord is OK. I don't like working in a call-center, but for now, it is better than nothing. I am putting in resumes all over hoping to get a job in my field, that is, Linux.
