If you'd read/listen to the news, you'd know that there's a big controversy in Canada for exactly the same practices!
Yet you never seem to mention Canada's role in anything bad, be it warcrimes, immigration issues, copyright issues. It's always the evils of the US.
I don't condone these actions, but I do have a problem with you being so quick to talk about the evils of the US while ignoring the problems of your own government.
