A few stumbling steps...
Well, we have taken a few more stumbling steps towards the direct brain interface (DiBI). This article at CBC's website describes how they have grown brain cells on to a chip, and that the cells grew to include the chip as if it was another brain cell. The cells and chip could communicate back and forth...wow!
