Coke *is* it! At least in India...

Well, it seems that in India they have found that their Coca-Cola is useful substitute for pesticides. Not only is it safe to handle (and even, I might say, drink!), but it costs an order of magnitutde less than pestisides. Coke is a tad bit upset about this...but the one who must be really fuming are the mega chemical companies who spend billions on making unique, patentable and thus very expensive chemical brews to fight various pests.

Hmmm. I will have to try it on my garden. Or maybe my lawn... I would be worried that the sugar residue it would leave would *attract* bugs...

Personally, I would use a spray bottle set to fine mist. Too many people think that the more the better with insectisides, but forget that what may be a drop for them, is a small wading pool for the bugs!

And maybe diet coke works too...
