AAAARRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Sorry...I just heard from one of the clients of Crowell that over the weekend while they were having the Medformix Users Group Meeting in Charlotte, NC, Mr. Bill stood up, and claimed that I had caused a security breach in MfxLinux servers, forcing him to shut down all of the doctor's servers and that he was calling the FBI on me!!!!

On Friday, I posted to the Medformix Users Yahoo List a warning about the local root vulnerablity that was announced that day on Slashdot.org. I know they don't follow the security announcements, and that I had to sneek in updates to get any security patches into MfxLinux. So I figured that it was important enough to let the user community know about...it wasn't as if it was a secret, being all over the media already.

Another thing, due to ACROSS threatening to sue NewsForge, they have made some minor changes to my article, with my permission. I'll eventually post the unexpurgated version here...
