Happy Canada Day!
Jul. 1st, 2006 05:44 amWell, it's Canada Day, and I don't have many plans...other than being checked out on a sound board or two...
But First, some updates:
My dad was contrite today. I think he realized he had gone over the top the other day. He didn't bother me about the money for the toaster oven. I installed CSI:Dark Motives on my dad's computer so that when my nephews come over on Monday, they will have an interesting game to play...and not bother me to let them play with my palm pilot..
I went to see the Ear/Nose/Throat specialist about my ear, and he told me that the hearing loss is temporary, basically, I had an ear infection, it filled with fluid, which now draining...and the best way to help drain is to move my jaws a lot and put pressure on my ears...he basically prescribed bubble gum. :-) So, for the first time in about 20+ years, I am chewing gum, and blowing bubbles!
There is good news on my computer! It was only the power supply that died, and it didn't take anything else with it when it died! So I am back up and running. Next project is to change cases...This case dates back to when both
juniorcrone both lived in Montreal...and it has had a few motherboards and power supplies in, and innumerable drives of various types. It's gotten fairly beaten up, and it's time to change.
Well, that's about it for now... I really should try and get to sleep....good night, and good morning!
