I'm sick..yuck.

Well I did a really stupid thing over the weekend...I had some people over to help me move and clean up the place to get it so at least there is floor room, and in all this, I found an old earbud type cellphone headphone...so I though great, I am glad I found this again...and immediately used it. What I had had forgotten, and remember later is that the reason I stopped using it was that the last time I used it, I had an ear infection...so guess what I have again?!?!?

So I have spent my first Canada Day in a Foreign Country, sick. I've only been able to "Wave the flag" symbolicly, on-line.

I did uncover some intersting history...it seems that the Canadian National Anthem is based upon a Quebecios song. The version we sing is very short, where the original had 4 refrains! It's a good thing we shortened it, otherwise we would totally loose the crowd at US hockey games!

I hope everyone had a great Canada Day, and I hope to be able to Celebrate the Fourth Of July where I will wave a Canadian flag in my heart, while celebrating the US Independance Day.

Thanks for thinkin' of us folks "up here" in the Great White North, eh? Yer, like, not a hoser, eh?

Set off some fireworks at my friends' cottage last night, but I'm too busy working on neicdial to get to the local display this evening. Oh, well... I really need to wrap this one up, so I think I've made the right decision.
