Found: Reissue of the Inter-Galatic Touring Band

Well, I collect things Science Fiction-ish, and one of the records I treasure is a weird album called The Inter-Galactic Touring Band, which was a concept album that it seems Larry Fast of Synergy & Peter Gabriel fame helped put together...he plays synth on nearly ever track. There are guest appearances by people like Ben E. King, Meat Loaf, Arthur Brown, Annie Halsam (vocals); Rick Parfitt, Francis Rossi, Anthony Phillips, Dave Cousins (guitar); Rod Argent (keyboards); Clarence Clemons (saxophone). I was sure that Debra Harry was on it too, but don't have easy access to my records at the moment. This album was released once in 1977, and never reissued...until this past February.

I learn of the re-issue when I was bouncing around on the net...you can see a wonderful tribute to the album at this site: http://www.kongaloid.org/igtb/igtb.html

That's all for now!

Seriously cool! Thanks for the info... as soon as I have some money, I'll make sure to order a copy for myself! Definitely a must have!

Hi, Farrell! I'm sending out the Lit Guild ballots today and wondered if you had a local address where I could send yours? If so, email me at hekatatia at mac dot com. Or if it goes to your Canadian address would you have time to return it to me before July 19?

Cheers!
Hek.
