Painful

I think I pulled a stomach muscle....it only hurts when I strech it, or if I twist. Well, I was going to go to the sea coast tomorrow...but if it is still hurts in the morning, I will go to a hospital tomorrow...Hopefully it won't be like Quebec, where it takes hours for them to see you, and once they look at you, it takes them hours more to decide what's wrong. I once spent all of an afternoon and evening discovering that I had small gall stones...took until 3 am....but when I am in Ontario, it is always quick...no more than an hour at most before I've seen a doctor and have an idea of what is wrong.

So, off to explore the tender mercies of the US Medical systems tommorrow...

I am under the impression that in the US, because they don't have the same kind of health care as Canada, if you have the $$ to cover whatever it is you need done, you will more or less be seen right away.

But I've never been treated in the US and I don't tend to keep track of these kinds of things.

I don't hurt as much now, and it really only hurts when I cough...so I will brave it out until Monday when I can get an "urgent" appointment with my doctor to look at it. But if it becomes painful again, then I will trundle into an Emergency room.
