The reason that I don't talk about them more is is that I have other forums that I talk about those things. A blog named The 49th Parallel, as well as stories I write for a local radio show on CKCU FM. Although I sometime post things first here, then over on The 49th ||, most of my criticism of the Canadian government and copyright issues ends up on the radio.

As for War Crimes, Canada does very little of that...although the dodgy policies of our Neo-Con Prime Minister, Mr. Harper, in regards to how Canadian troops handle handing over prisoners to the ANA might be actionable.

Canada doesn't have any real problems with immigration, but the Right Wingers would have you to believe that is a disaster because of all the non-english speaking, dark skinned foreigners that have come into Canada. But that's a problem with the Right Wingers, not with our immigration.

Canada's biggest problems come from things like allowing Bush Jr. to set our foreign policy, and giving in to him on matters involving "terrorism".

Hmmm... seem to remember that Canada kind of ratified the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court whereas a certain other country that shall remain implied has consistently fought with extreme prejudice against being held bound by the notion of an external moral authority. Coincidence? I think not. It certainly appears that someone or someones in positions of power think that they have something to protect themselves against.

Ya, Bush Jr. is not a big fan of the International Criminal Court. Probably much in the way that the Mob is not a big fan of the Supreme Court of the US....
