Moonlight, the series

Well, I just watched the first episode of Moonlight...and I don't think I will watch any more. Badly written, poorly acted, and characters that have as much depth as a puddle on the sidewalk. If they really wanted to do the Film Noir/Bogart type voiceovers, the need to stop distracting the watcher with bright colours. The male lead is a private investigator, his "sidekick" is a female reporter for a Daily News/National Inquirer crossed website. If there were any more stereo types in this show, you could play records on it, you know, those big, black CD like things they used to use for music.

So, I would give this thing a great big pass...unless you are so bored you can't move, and it just happens to come on at that point of  time.

You can always watch Blood Ties instead.

Of course...It's a good first season. I can see the tradeoffs made to get it to TV, and I agree that they do work. By focusing on the love triangle, it does make the writing a lot easier, and much more palatable for a US audience.
