Another great figure of SF has died.

Forrest J. Ackerman, known to many as "Forry" has passed away. Many have written better about him...if you don't know who he is, and you read, or watch Science Fiction, you should go over to Wikipedia and find out. Without his help, you might not have had a good chance at finding good SF.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. He may have been over 90, but nobody expected his passing just now.

It is sad to know that he is gone. BTW, Rue Morgue magazine did a great spread on him in October. The cover was also fantastic and a great tribute to him and his magazine. He will certainly be missed.
