Well, I had my hearing, in which I was appealing my disqualification for 9 weeks of unemployment. And it didn't go as well as I expected. I did manage to clear up the thing that most bothered me, that I had made a threat to their system security, when in reality I was trying to warn them of something. I am fairly sure that I managed to do that. Special thanx to [livejournal.com profile] thepunkpanther and [livejournal.com profile] pheloniusfriar for their testimony. All I needed was the truth, and you two provided it. And the most damning thing to ACROSS's case was the truth. I didn't manage to get all of the things brought up that I had hoped, but with a bit of luck and help from The Gods, I will have won my case.

Of course, the most frustrating thing right now is that there is a Appeals Decision Pre-Notification (ie, something posted to their website before I get the official papers), that is waiting for me on their website, but their bloddy Windows ASP script bombs out every time I try to access it!!!!! I guess the Gods are just trying to either teach me a little patience...[grin]....Oh No, Not Another Learning Experience!

The way I look at it, if I didn't win, it was money that I never had, so I won't miss it...and if I did win, it's found money, to be put away for a rainy day. At least I can stop obessing about the hearing now....
