Starting to feel normal again...
Mar. 19th, 2005 07:45 pmWell, I think my life is finally starting to return to a "norm"...can't really say "normal"...[grin]
Today I rolled up a character for a D&D game...my first experience with 3rd Gen of the rules. It's close enough to the old AD&D system to be comfortable, but I don't know if I will like it more. There is a fair bit more "realism", but not so much that it ties down the game like Chivalry & Sorcery, but enough to so that you can do obvious things like slide a blade into someone while hiding behind someone else.
Not that my character is likely to do so, being chaotic good, but it could happen.
Plus as both Jake and Denise is involved with the game, it is bound to be interesting...may not quite as interesting as a certain dungeon with Captain Biday...but enjoyable none the less!
