Well, it's been a lazy Sunday...I could have gone to the OSFS meeting, but it was the elections, so not having a membership, I would not be able to vote. I have almost reconstituted a system with the hard drives from my server system, but not having a Ultra-SCSI interface, I can't move the final stuff off the SCSI drive I had as the primary drive on my dead server system.
As I have been working on the system, I have been bouncing around the TV stations, watching a bit of the Grey Cup. Not really a big football fan, but when you played for 6 years, there is still some interest in the game. It's the 93rd Grey Cup game...I don't know about US Football, but I don't know if there is any Bowl game, or championship that is as old...
Hopefully, I will get my check in the mail without any problems this time around...and I will be able to buy some more food! It's been tight this month, as I had to pay for the towning of the van, which pretty much cut my food budget in half.
Have a great week everyone!

Date: 2005-11-30 08:46 am (UTC)On the medication not covered by social services front:
I got prescribed one of those once but you can ask the doc to prescribe somehting else instead that is covered under the drug card schedule... and if that drug doesn't work properly they can get you the initial prescription. They never tell people this, though, but it's there likley to protect the province from wrongful death/manslaughter suits!
On the food front (this is saving my food budget's butt every month):

Random thought - just tripped over this: all you need is a driver's license, which you have.
just a thought...
