Well, it's another sunday.
I went out and bough some new sox to replace the ones that are developing holes and are somewhat threadbare on the bottom. And the new ones I can thus wear with my new sandles. I also bought a number of books, including a Joeseph Campbel book, and another on The Celts. And a few Mercedes Lackey Urban Fantasies, and a couple of books of Honor Harrington stories. I realized that I hadn't read a book in about 3 weeks...having an ear infection is not too conductive to reading...heck, watching TV was hard enough! At least I don't suffer from motion sickness...otherwise I might not have been able to drive. But my ear problem is pretty much gone...what I have now is that the fluid is draining, and leaving a partial vacuum in my inner ear, and thus my hearing is a little strange, but has returned. I saw a Ear/Nose/Throte specialist, and after looking in my ears, doing some contact stuff with a tuning fork, determined that I was all but cured, and that all I had to do was equalize the pressure 20-30 times a day, and he say with any luck, I will never have to see him again! YES!
Now that the infection is gone, I can use the new headset I picked up on my phone...this should be nice...
Last night I went out for some Ice Cream, and on the way back, was followed by a cop for a while. I could tell that they were calling in my plate number and such...I know the worst thing I did was go a few miles over the speed limit, but they never pulled me over, and drove past me when I got to a major road. I guess I must look suspecious, since I always signal and drive the speed limit. This is not the first time this has happened. Maybe if I shaved my beard, whitened my teeth, and wore "respectable" clothes this wouldn't happen to me. I am just glad I don't have a dark tan!
