Sorry for neglecting you, but I've been busy!

Well, things at work have gone bannanas! I've worked more overtime in the past week, than I have in the past couple of months...but that is OK, since it makes me feel less guilty that I have flow away to Toronto for Worldcon!

I'm sitting at my friends SLR's place, hooked into his ubergeek network...and having a great time bouncing around and such...

I was late leaving charlotte because a sensor on one of the engines said it wasn't generating enough thrust...so they aborted take off, and drove us back to the terminal. I can only guess from the fact that no techies pored over the engine that what the captain did was reboot his computer, and everything was fine again.

So I am two hours late getting to TO, and they have rented my car...so they upgrade me to a smoke grey turbocharged brand new Mustang! It sounds like a hot car, and it drives like a hot car...I am having far too much fun driving it! O.K., so I splurged a bit on the car...I don't have to pay for a hotel room, and it means that I am not left to the tender mercies of the TTC. Hey, maybe I'll see something of Mandy by offering her a ride in the Mustang!

I guess I should sign off now...tommorrow starts the con offically, and I should get some sleep!
