Well, I finally found Caycee at the con...just as I was about to leave, of course...so I didnt leave. But first, I tried finding late registration...and there wasn't any that I could find...about 2 am I did here that it was somewhere on the Mezzenzene level...

I ran across a bunch of the Usual Suspects. Charles M. who is living in MTL now is the offical Con photographer, Northbard was there, Lloydd and Yvonne Penny said hello each, Catherine Crocket was there, and acknowledged me there (never did find out what got me put into her "uncool" books), Saw Joel Polewin, the valiant soul who tried to rebuild OSFS, and failed, mostly due to Mr. Ray's meddling. I hope to see Paul Valcour but not yet. I did run into Don Kingsbury, and heard that part of the facade of his home fell off! Needless to say, Don has had an "intereting" week. Chatted briefly with Rob Sawyer, who is doing well. Rob is a really nice guy, and I really do appreciate his kindness.

In the consuite I chatted with Caycee for a long while, and she gave me my copy of the Book of the McGoverns, the early history of my Irish side in poetry. And as we were getting ready to close te consuite, Alyson Abramowitz popped in, and I said hello! She cameover and we must have talked for at least an hour!

I also went over to volenteer to help with the Charlotte NASFiC bid, and was told to return Friday at 8 pm...But they seem to have a pretty good party going tonight. Hopefully, I will get a program guide when I register sometime tomorrow. That will be nice.

It's around 3 am, and I should get to bed...good night all!

Well, I spent about an hour on my cell phone talking to work moving around some files to our new website...it looks good...and when we finally announce the product, I will let people know about it...Oh, and last night, I recieved the _Leabher Meig Shamhrdrain_, Or the _Book of the McGoverns_. Basically, my Irish side of the family's history in poetry, combining both eulogie and praise poems. It still sends chills down my back when I read the Eulogy for Fearghal, which is poem five in the book. Fearghal is the more "correct" spelling of my first name.

After lunch, I will get going to Worldcon, and I will see if I can report from there, since there is supposed to be a computer room that is open 24 hours a day through the convention.

I don't know, maybe it was something I ate, or I got too tired or dehydrated...but I am not feeling well...my range of focus to try and read a map is limited, and I am tired. So, I am not heading back to the con tonight...wow, crashing at 11 pm on a con night!

Hopefully Popelaskmi will check out my live journal, and see this...and know what happened.
