Wow!
I just watched this and I was totally blown away by it!
Seriously, it was in impressive movie. The story postulates a world that could easily come to be. One hopes that we will be able to sidestep the possible totalitarian society that we are scarily too close to. Definitely a must-see. Now I need to find the original comics that it is based upon.

Yes... 'Blown Away'
Date: 2006-05-28 09:11 am (UTC)The movie was definitely awesome. Just prior (or after... can't remember) the movie came out, they re-released a collectors edition of the trade for V... As for the movie... it started off with a bang and it finished with a bang... what else could one ask for? :) I love the 1812 Overture.
Out of curiosity, have you seen the Richard III adaptation starring Ian McKellen? It's pretty much the same classic Shakespearean play but set in the late 1930's (which, considering that period of history, works *way* too easily)
