Well, if you have a million and a half to blow on a new bed, it would be the Monolith in the bedroom! Check out this photo:



Designed by Janjaap Ruijssenaars, who was obviously influenced by Kubrick & Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey. It is essentially a Mag-Lev bed. But at that price, I hope it plays the 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' when you have a friend over for some pseudo zero-G sex!

You could describe it as "uplifting" ... :-)
It would probably emit an ear-splitting screech when the rising sun shines on it. :-)
