Thank you *very* much for sharing this with me. I have been trying to find just this sort of thing (women performaing hard rock/ metal). I am not sure I like this though. Perhaps I am a bit too conflicted - not sure. Must think about it some more.
If you like Iron Maiden... you should check out the Iron Maidens! An all female Iron Maiden cover band! Of course, the 'tone' of the music is still very much true to form.
Interesting...I do like Tori Amos's version of "Smells like Teen Spirit". Then there's Apocolyptica, which does Metallica on chellos...Ah...yes, I do have strange musical tastes! :-)
