There IS potential, maybe is was for a community type show? Sounds a bit like a pageant at the end. Maybe it was really small scale?

She has enthusiasm and her showmanship is OK even if her skill is not. Her dancing is only margically better than her trumpet playing.

Then again, you don't see me dancing or playing trumpet in public...
