The original article did have a website link to: 'http://lannaactionforumburma.blogspot.com'. Unfortunately, all I got when I tried to access it was a 404 (Not Found) error. Either this was a hoax from the start, or someone in the blogspot.com organization was persuaded to remove the site.
Another search did find the following:

According to Google maps, it is located just south of Strathcona Park, on the left bank of the Ottawa River and East of the Rideau Canal.
