Another trip to the eye doctor....

So, today, I went to the eye doctor for a lookover of my Macular Dengeration problem. Of course, this included having those horrible drops put in my eye to dilate them...and despite the fact that it was a cloudy, rainy day, I still had to put on my sunglass clip-ons and pull my baseball cap way down to prevent too much light from hurting my eyes. And the verdict is...there has been little or no progress in the degeneration of my eyes! It seems that the AREDs vitamins I am taking twice a day *are* helping! I am happy with this...or at least not more depressed...I am still going blind, just at a much slower rate...

While not good news per se, at least it's not outright bad news!

I've actually heard from some people with Macular Degeneration...and it turns out that *if* the vitamins help, then they will continue to dramatically slow the degeneration for years, if not halting it all together. So, there is hope if that can keep it at bay, then I can continue seeing until such time as they find a cure!
