Well, I'm almost recovered from K-Fest.

I didn't loose a lot of money, but loose I did. *If* I do it next year, I will be charging a lot more. I will also have the people make use of the pre-booking thingy I had at the registration area. I will also charge more for vendors, as I was taken for a ride this year.

In other news, my schedule has changed at work...*again*, and will change on Sept 24th yet again. Until then, I am working 10 am to 9 pm, Tuesday to Friday. After that, I will be 3:45pm to 1:30 am. So it's going to be a haul until them. At least I have Monday's off until then.

ttyl

Sorry to hear you lost money on the rides. Perhaps a slight rise for ordinary folks and a steep rise for vendors would be in order? (After all, most vendors make a profit at the Fest, no?)

While my schedule is still from 3:30 -- 11:30 pm, I'm hoping to get it changed. Slow-speed Transpo is cutting service to Fnord as of Labour Day; the outbound run in the afternoon and the return one after midnight will disappear. Since this means a *much* longer trip on weekends, I hope to get my start and finish hours moved to an hour earlier ... I might just get home at a decent time (before 1:30 am, that is).

[No, I don't work at Fnord ... but the same bus goes past my workplace, so it helps me as well.]

That sucks. I'm surprised 'cuz the higher ups at Dell say they have been working with City Hall and Slow Speed Transpo to improve the service. Grrrr

It turns out I was only partly right.

The change I missed (in Slow Speed Transpo) is to route #101 (former 99). It will become a seven-days-a-week service and will operate *to* Dell and other locations in the morning & early afternoon, and *from* there late afternoon and evening. The last run back (to Queensway Transitway station) is after midnight. [!]

However, it is still tidal (one way in morning/afternoon, other way in afternoon/evening).
