I think that hotmaewest will be quite interested in this, as she used to know Japanese, and I pushed her name a fair bit at last years worldcon as a great person to help liasse with the Japanese consuite people to make sure and provide enough of a "western" feel to the Nipponese consuit so that westerners would feel confortable.
